Face Procedures
Face Lift or Facelift (Rhytidectomy)
As we age, a number of changes occur on the face. Fat shrinks under the skin which makes the skin droop. Also, muscles stretch which causes drooping around the eyelids, mouth and jawline. Folds appear, particularly around the mouth and neck. Constant exposure to the sun, smoking and stress accelerate these changes.
A face lift can dramatically improve your look by tightening facial muscles and smoothing out the skin. Depending on the extent of the change, this can be done through very small, inconspicuous incisions that are well hidden in the hairline. The scars eventually become almost imperceptible. During the healing process and at no charge, our aesthetician can provide some camouflage make-up assistance to cover bruising.

Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Eyelid surgery can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired looking eyes by removing excess fat and skin from the upper and lower eyelids. This type of surgery is often combined with a face lift and/or brow lift to obtain a uniform, fresh look to the entire face. Many times lower eyelid puffiness can be improved without any external incisions on the skin allowing you to recover more rapidly.

Brow Lift or Forehead Lift
Eyebrows that are too low can make you look angry, tired or both. This is often associated with a lined forehead that results from muscles constantly trying to lift the eyebrows away from the eyelids. A forehead lift can be done through tiny incisions in your hairline which elevates the brows. The result is a more rested and fresh look. This procedure can be combined with eyelid surgery and a face lift, if needed, to enhance your appearance.

Neck Lift
The neck is possibly one of the first areas to see changes as we age. Loose muscles tend to cause unsightly bands extending from the point of the chin to the lower neck. This is often called a "turkey gobbler deformity." Fat often accumulates below the chin causing the loss of a defined neck and jawline. A neck lift will tighten these muscles and re-drape the skin to recapture a more youthful look. Liposuction is often added to decrease the amount of fat behind the chin. Improving a receding chin with a chin implant will also significantly enhance the results of a neck lift.

Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)
Few of us are born with a perfect looking nose. Even perfect noses age over time. The aging changes include a lengthening of the nose and drooping of the tip. One of the most common plastic surgery procedures, rhinoplasty, is performed to reshape the nose by removing a hump, narrowing the nostrils and/or raising the tip. This is usually an outpatient procedure done under general anesthesia. The result is a more harmonious facial appearance. Breathing problems through one or both sides of the nose can also be addressed while doing a rhinoplasty.

Facial Implant Surgery
A youthful look is often defined by high cheek bones, an oval face, a straight nose, a proportioned chin and a straight jawline. In other words, your facial bones are the foundation of its shape and proportion. Facial implants come in various sizes and shapes. They can be placed in the cheek, chin or jawline areas through small incisions within the mouth which leave no visible scars. Particularly impressive results are from the use of chin implants which can transform a good face or neck lift into a great one.

Ear Pinning (Otoplasty)
This procedure can be done at any age and is often done in childhood. Children with large or protruding ears are often teased resulting in a lack of self esteem. Ear pinning reshapes the ear to look more normal and reduces the protrusion. It is highly effective and accomplished through a small incision behind the ears. It usually only takes an hour or two to complete under local anesthesia and normal activities can be resumed within two to three weeks.

Lip Enhancement
Full and vivacious lips are often seen as aesthetically important features. Some of us, however, are born with thin, ill-defined lips. Fortunately, the appearance of our lips is now within our control. During this short procedure, performed under local anesthesia in the office, material is placed into your lips to enhance and improve their appearance. This ultimately makes your lips looks more full and "plump" instead of thin and small.
